Brasenose College,Oxford. Undergraduate Access Symposium

The third of these biennial events has been dedicated to the memory of Heather McKissack because of her close personal and professional connections to the college. The symposium explores ways of improving the chances of less privileged applicants to Oxford, and other places;precisely what Heather strove for, and what the HMCK Charity is now continuing. She and her husband, Ian, were the first couple to be married in the chapel at Brasenose. It was also at Brasenose where she decided to switch from chemistry research into teaching- to the benefit of so many young people in the following 41 years.
